For example, you should know that, within five days of first contacting you, Sunrise Credit Services is required to send you a written notification outlining the amount owed, the name of the creditor, and your right to dispute the debt.
If you send Sunrise Credit Services, Inc. a letter of dispute, make sure to send it certified mail with return receipt requested. In addition, make sure you send it within 30 days. A fair debt attorney should review your case for free, determine if the debt collection agency has violated the FDCPA, and take appropriate action. In addition, once you have an attorney, Sunrise Credit Services must communicate only with your attorney. In other words, the harassment should stop.
